Other Sky customers will have to add Paramount+ as an extra to their TV package – the cost of this has yet to be determined. In the US, Paramount+ costs US$4.99 for the base tier with ad-supported content, and $9.99 for ad-free content with the addition of live sports, live CBS and live local news.
There will be more than 10,000 hours' worth of content added to Sky via Paramount+. This will likely include the reboots of the Rugrats and iCarly. There’s also lots of upcoming series, including the Italian Job spin-off series and the Frasier revival.
Peacock meanwhile will be available through Sky Q, Sky Ticket and Now’s Entertainment membership, bringing comedy classics like The Office US and Parks and Recreation, as well as new originals such as Girls5eva and Rutherford Falls. Peacock also offers sports in the US and is the streaming option for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
