Apple Watch Series 7 'to get flat edges, new colour'

Jon Prosser has revealed a range of new theories about the Apple Watch Series 7 in an episode of the podcast Genius Bar.

He predicts that the new watch model will have sharp, squared-off edges in a design similar to the iPhone 12, iPad Pro and other recent-vintage Apple products, 9to5Mac reports. However, it won't copy this style of chassis exactly: Prosser says the design will be "more subtle", presumably meaning not quite as sharp. After all, the device's edges will lie against the wrist all day, and comfort is an important consideration.

In addition to the new chassis design, Prosser claims Apple will also release the new Apple Watch in a new colour finish: a green shade similar to the one available on the AirPods Max.
